Win+V for global clipboard does not seem to work with i3

In order to not conflict with terminal copy/paste, I set the global clipboard shortcuts to win+c and win+v, but only win+c seems to work (I get the notification). When I had ctrl+shift+c/ctrl+shift+v configured, both worked. I’m using i3 as the window manager in dom0, maybe that’s related.

I first thought it might be related to the fact that i3 already have a shortcut on win+v, but after removing it and rebooting, global clipboard paste still didn’t work.

Does anyone have an idea?

Seems to be a user error. I tried whether it works in XFCE: It worked there. So I went back to i3, and sure enough, it also works there. Rebooted — still works.
