Why is boto3 installed in dom0?

Hello everyone,

I recently noticed that Boto3 is installed by default. I’m curious about the reasoning behind this decision. I am using the rc version of qubesos with testing updates.
The version of boto3 is python3-boto3-0:1.40.26-1.fc41.noarch.

Running dnf repoquery --installed --whatrequires python3-boto3 does not list any packages that use this dependecy.

Try sudo dnf remove python3-boto3 (without confirming the prompt!) to see which installed packages depend on it. I think it’s Salt related.
