I have been trying to run Firefox on Proxychains in the terminal by entering $ proxychains firefox but it doesn’t connect no matter what I try and adjust. What’s strange is that sometimes it connects briefly when I search something in the search engine, but when I click on a link it just freezes and the connection breaks again. I am certain I am following correct formatting, etc.
The error messages that appear in the terminal are the following:
|D-chain| -<>-(IP address)-<>-(IP address)-<–timeout
|DNS-response|: (website name) does not exist
and this one appears in the terminal only at the beginning of the process when I first enter $ proxychains firefox:
missing chrome or resource URL: resource://gre/modules/UpdateListener.sys.mjs
Any help is greatly appreciated.
