I’d like to rescue my Qubes install as it for some reason does not boot anymore. On a normal linux distro I’d know how to do this but with Qubes my knowledge of how to properly reinstall grub seems to not be working. Thus I wanted to use the rescue script from the ISO. Unfortunately, the actual script detects my other Linux install as the volume that it wants to rescue instead of my Qubes partition.
Thus, I wanted to look at what the rescue script would actually do and just manually run all of the steps in a chroot to fix my install. I’ve tried looking around in the GitHub org but with no luck. Does anyone know where I can find the code/could anyone give me guidance on how to otherwise rescue my system?
