When installing packages with sysmaint in Kicksecure, I am prompted for a password, but it is not the one I set. According to the Kicksecure website, it states that no password is set.
In the end, I install as root, but is this the recommended way to do it?
You have to either use the sysmaint user or root, or enable unrestricted admin mode. If you’re on Qubes 4.2 (which is likely the case) you must use root or enable unrestricted admin.
