VPN on Qubes Host install. Safe?

Hello, I read on the site: Connecting to a VPN before Tor

that when I set up my VPN on the host, all my data traffic is protected from the ISP. So I want to run the VPN on the host and then use Whonix as well? So: Host + VPN → Whonix → Tor Browser

Is it safe?

It should safe if you use low logging vpn provider like mulvad:slightly_smiling_face:

When I type the first command always comes : apt : command not found… what am I doing wrong I entered it exactly as it says on the page?
