When I open up the Q menu, sometimes the scrollbar doesn’t appear when browsing my app qubes. I have to re-open the menu for it to work. it’s been like this ever since the 4.2 GUI update.
This is surprising, I never saw a scrollbar there ![]()
There is a (thin) scrollbar if you have many “Apps” and/or “Templates”. However, I don’t use the Q menu too much and I never observed the behavior reported by @Litter_Box .
Oh right, so I just figured it’s there and found the bug.
If you leave the Q menu list to the top, open it again and the scrollbar is there. If you leave the Q menu list aligned somewhere in the list, open it again and the scrollbar is gone.
An issue should be opened about this.
Confirmed! I can still scroll the menu even without the scrollbar - using the mouse scroll and/or the track-pad “two finger vertical scrolling”.
