Upgrade R4.0 to R4.1 missing files in qubes-rpc

I am not sure if this is a known issue or unique to my install, but after doing an upgrade from R4.0 to R4.1, I can’t do any template changes. I noticed it when I tried to install Fedora-34 and found that it fails with:

[Qrexec] /bin/sh: /etc/qubes-rpc/qubes.TemplateSearch: No such file or directory

When I check, this file and the other one for working with templates is not present in the folder.

Everything else seems to work fine with my installation (as far as I can tell). I couldn’t find any other reports of people with the same issue. Any way I can install the missing files?

Ok, for anyone running into this issue, here is what the cause was and the solution.

I found the answer in: https://github.com/QubesOS/qubes-issues/issues/7251

My update VM was old and did not have the R4.1 version of the qubes-core-dom0-agent-updates installed. To fix, I moved my update vm to a newer template that already had the needed package installed as part of the upgrade.
