Update errors not corrected?

When updating in the Qubes Update GUI I’ve seen various types of errors in the output of the dom0 or app qube update such as a verification error or a network error. Afterward I update again and no updates are found which makes me think the error is left unresolved. Can I verify the state of dom0 or of an app qube to ensure all is up to date?

Is there a way to do something like this for each qube individually? Maybe a dnf command?

May you share errors content that you get in update process?
You can update qubes by dnf and apt, but better to use Updater for (according to notes at guides how to do so)

Don’t use dnf (or apt) to update!

You can use dnf as usual to query the package, though.

Now that I look more closely I see a package that failed to fetch also succeeded to fetch but the successful line appears above/before the failure line. I’ll keep a closer eye on these.

dnf will report failures to download or access packages and then report
a successful transfer from another mirror. Sometimes the logging of
these appears to be reversed. I have seen this and confirmed it with
packet analysis. Not something to worry about.

I never presume to speak for the Qubes team. When I comment in the Forum I speak for myself.
