My goal is to run a default disposable whonix vm to launch monero which works fine but when I copy the blockchain file to this disposable vm the monero gui that is running on the same disposable vm fails to recognize the blockchain file. I don’t understand why this is but my guess is the applications that originate from whonix template only have access to the template files, is this correct? If so am I supposed to manually install monero gui inside the disposable vm and not start it from the list of applications that stems from the template?
I understand it might be a silly goal but from my research running an actual monero nod seems very complicated and I just don’t want to connect to a remote node. At the end of the day I just want to run a monero wallet on a disposable whonix vm and connect it to a node I own. I just don’t know the best and easiest approach perhaps.
