Passwordless sudo is a usability feature based on arguable security logic in an outdated code comment.
The best generic practice is not to install unneeded software.
FYI, “passwordless-root is a requirement for the management disposable when
used for salt, and otherwise as intended”.
Just using -u root to start a terminal on the VM from dom0 seems to me to be the best option.
Holding the Shift key in qui-domains is even easier.
