Has anyone else experienced this?:
Every time I click the refresh applications button inside my appvm settings, the template vm then starts. I never seen this before and im wondering if it’s apart of an update or if it’s a security bug. Anyone?
It has always been like this for me.
If you want to avoid this, use the command-line:
That’s expected. It allows you to update shortcuts for an AppVM after a TemplateVM update without having to restart the AppVM.
It wasn’t happening all of this time.
I think your memory is failing you: a quick git blame suggest this has
been in place since at least 2020.
In any case this is the correct behaviour - it checks the applications
installed in the template, so that the list available in the qube is
correctly set.

Yea thanks. Only just started happening for me. App vm already has access to template apps when not starting usually. Thought it was a bug.
