Template from 3isec-qubes-mullvad-vpn doesn't seem to be updating

I have a standalone debian-based mullvad-template installed from 3isec-qubes-mullvad-vpn.

The mullvad app is complaining about an update from 25.5 ->25.6 (i.e. notification dot on system tray icon).

Despite attempting to update though Qubes tools, mullvad-template reports it is up-to-date.

Running sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade in terminal in the template brings down the update properly.

Its disturbing: 37 packages required updating. Why is this invisible to the Qubes Updater?

I did it in x-term, so cannot copy and paste easily. See photo for package details.

I don’t know how long this has been like this, but since the template managed to update the mullvad app to 25.5, released March 27, it may have been a few weeks.

I’m sorry to hear you have this issue, but I have not seen it.

The package you refer to install a template called
template-mullvad, not a standalone called mullvad-template.

I dont have other reports of updates failing and I do have reports of
updates succeeding, so I dont know where to go.

I never presume to speak for the Qubes team.
When I comment in the Forum I speak for myself.

I stand corrected on template-mullvad, sorry.

I’ll keep an eye on it and see what happens.
