System Hangs and Intermittent Internet Issues After Recent dom0 Update on Dell Latitude 5400

Since performing a dom0 update a few days ago, I’ve been experiencing two major issues on my Dell Latitude 5400:

  1. The system frequently hangs, requiring a forceful shutdown. This happens unpredictably.
  2. After the update, a qube I use to browse social media lose internet access despite the network functioning normally in other qubes. It shows no internet access for a period, then spontaneously recover after some time without intervention.

Furthermore, I don’t know If this is an issue or not but I haven’t receieve any update for last three days

Qubes was already updated to 4.2.4 and unfortunately I don’t know what the last dom0 update was.

Has anyone else encountered similar issues after a recent dom0 update?

Can you check what packages were updated as part of that update? You can see that using dnf history command in dom0. Especially look for kernel package updates.
Do you have current-testing repository enabled in dom0?

Try starting the system with older kernel to see if performance improves (grub options at startup)

I noticed some recent kernel updates slowed things down.

Thanks! But I’m no longer experiencing the issue even without switching kernels. If it pops up again, I’ll try booting with an older kernel.
