Standalone ProxyVM

Hello,

Trying to experiment with using a ProxyVM for VPN usage. The template is a standalone OS

and is set to provide the network. When attempting to connect to the ProxyVM using the correct

ip settings on the ClientVM, it returns destination host unreachable after calling the ping command.

not sure if this setup is even possible but when using a traditional template, it works fine.

What do you mean here? Templates and Standalones are not the same thing. Which OS are you using in the Template?

There are many posts about VPN configuration on this forum. Perhaps you could find something related?

Try adding network-manager to the services tab for your proxy VM. Make sure when you created the VM you selected standalone as the type.
