Hi,
this is happening since I changed the template of my qubes from debian-12-xfce to debian-13-xfce:
when I shut down certain qubes, the shutdown process is delayed by 1min 30s. This is what’s shown in the console:
It happens only on certain qubes, and not always.
Well, apart from my “vault” qube, on that one it happens every time.
I have no idea about which process would be causing that. And I’m having trouble trying to figure it out. Because when I boot the qube after that delayed shutdown, the system logs from the last shutdown are lost (sudo journalctl shows me the system logs from the template, which shuts down without delay).
I cloned that vault qube (to try doing “nasty things” to it), and it shut down without delay.
Any ideas on how I could try to diagnose this?
Thanks!
EDIT:
I found in /var/log/xen/console/guest-vault.log in dom0, that the service delaying the shutdown is “User Manager for UID 1000”.
Still no clue about the reason. I found not much more information there.
