Second monitor resolution stuck

I’ve recently migrated to a Framework 13 AMD AI 350 series laptop and managed to install Qubes 4.2.4 with the latest Kernel. Besides some scaling issues which I managed to fix, Qubes runs amazing on this machine; however, only one issue persists when attempting connect a second monitor to the laptop. I have a Samsung Odyssey G9 49" Curved 240Hz OLED monitor which runs flawlessly with my desktop installation of Qubes, but when I try to connect it to my framework laptop the resolution only maxes out to 3840x1080 @ 120hz. Using it in this states makes everything extremely large and difficult to use. Also note this is being connected with the HDMI expansion card using HDMI 2.1 cable.

I attempted to fix this by following this guide: https://askubuntu.com/questions/377937/how-do-i-set-a-custom-resolution and was able to get the resolution option listed in the display manager but nothing happens when I click on the option.

Check if your monitor works fine on the same laptop using general Linux OS e.g. Fedora Live.

Was able to work using Ubuntu live usb

I followed the guide, but nothing worked
