Running out of space in vm-pool during backup causes significant issues

(strong language)

i really hate this shit this is now the third time this crab happens to me.

Running a 2 TB drive, i deleted about 650 GB of old Backups and even empty trash bin than i run a 110 GB new Backup and this kills the whole OS, no sys-usb, no sys-net nothing will run anymore.

why isn’t there any security that the services are run in a different drive / partition or whatelse that this cannot be happen.

and why shows kde partition manager three times the same partition

/dev/qubes/dom0/vm-debian-XX-root 200GB
/dev/qubes/dom0/vm-debian-XX-root-1234567-back 200GB
/dev/qubes/dom0/vm-debian-XX-root-7654321-back 200GB

You could set revisions_to_keep to 0 or -1, the default is 2, for the disk images you know are going to take up a lot of space.

@ceomi please keep the tone professional. It is understandable that you are frustrated, but we should all keep our composure here, so this is a welcoming space. Thanks!
