Recovering Files from Broken Standalone AppVM

I have a deb-12 standalone app vm qube that broke with python update, crashed and never could start again.

Have tried mounting it as a block device to a disposable vm, with no success.

It would be terrible to lose the work I have completed on that vm, how can I recover files from that stand alone app vm ?

Most of my files are in the home directory, assuming that is private storage not root, does that make it any better?

Is there a way to start the qube in some kind of safe mode ?

Dom0 will simply not expose the block device to another qube, pls help. Thanks.

If you run qvm-start in dom0, do you see any error message?
