Recommendations for better audio quality

Hello,

i have read that qubes avoids negotiation for audio (Add support for 24-bit (S16LE) 48k audio (perhaps as separate installable package) (humble feature request) · Issue #7521 · QubesOS/qubes-issues · GitHub).
Does using sys-audio improves the audio quality (because better audio formats are used), or is it still at the same audio quality as if it is used via the audio jacks?
Additionally, does it make any difference in terms of quality if i am playing the audio on the same qube as the one with hardware access or if it a different qube?

By using sys-audio, the improvements will be only within sys-audio (in case you are using a DAW or any audio capture/playback software there). But inner-vm audio quality remains the same.

If the audio playing software and your audio hardware support higher sampling/resolution, sure.
