Intel CPU over amd CPU for compatibility. I think AMD GPU are more compatible over Nvidia.
Take a look at the HCL for newer T14. Usually seems to be something that doesn’t work (wifi card, suspend, needs a tweak to get working). It depends if you want everything to work or can handle if suspend doesn’t.
