Quite a few Whonix issues after recent update

There was probably an error after running the git clone command?

Folders such as ~/derivative-maker/packages/kicksecure/security-misc are probably empty?

Huge git clones over Tor might be hard.

It’s not easy to fix incomplete git clones without being proficient in git. The exact commands depend on state of interruptions. So it’s hard to provide generic instructions.

No. There was just a mistake on my side: I missed --recurse-submodules. Now it is all there. Thanks.

So, after all that and digging into the results of myfind, I can’t find the source of the bug.

What I did find: “A)” doesn’t work without touching the template (it requires enabling of the service, regardless of its “local” location). The workaround in the link you provided (rc.local-early) doesn’t change anything either.

For now, I am simply modifying the template to set the shell for the user, however the bug remains.

Here is one more:

Clicking on the time synchronization monitor panel widget often results in the menu showing and instantly hiding, thus making the whole thing unusable. From time to time it is stable and works as expected. Hard to relate to anything or define a pattern.

It is persistent here. Tested on 2 different monitor setups.

BTW, here is one more:

qubes-app-shutdown-idle doesn’t seem to work after upgrading the templates.

Please contribute to the ticket. (Fill out any limitations or mistakes of mine, if any, such as instructions how to reproduce the issue.)

Thank you.

Regarding sdwdate monitor - I created a second panel and added the widget to it. Tried different settings as well. - The issue remains. I wish I could provide more info.
