QubesOS with sys-proxy socks5 and V2ray / Qv2ray

I am using for a long time Network Manger over the toolbar to turn on and setup OpenVPN.
That works great i was now looking for similar experience for Socks5.
I want to root sys-vpn behind sys-proxy in best case.
I have now found Qv2ray which is exactly doing what i want with the toolbar feature.
I tried now with redsocks to tunnel everything in but i cant manage to get it running.
I got only curl --socks5 127.0.0.1:1080 ifconfig.me running, but in the appvm i get a timeout and normal curl ifconfig gives me real ip out.
I am giving 100€ Bounty for anyone who solves this problem, and helps me get trough. If you write a Tutorial for the community I will pay 150€
If you manged getting it running you can send me your contact details like telegram or anything over private message.

You can use sing-box with socks outbound:

That won’t solve the issue but you should add a firewall rule in the proxy qube, so traffic not going through the proxy will be blocked.

How do you mean that? Firwall under cube settings, firewall it is set to “allow all outgoing connections” by default? Also i didnt have to such thing for the sys-vpn vm where i use network manger.

I like the userinterface from Qv2ray, how can i tunnel a hole AppVM trough a sys-proxy Net-VM which is using Qv2ray and Socks5? I am willing to pay if somebody take me by the hand.

It’s a dead project.

damnnn any other options which lives in the toolbar? like network manger and qv2ray?

Never used them, so I can’t recommend any.
You can search for “sing-box gui” or “xray-core gui” on github and check the popular ones.
