QubesOS - USB Drivers/Device At Boot

How are USB drivers and devices loaded at boot? At the login screen stage?

Are these drivers loaded from Coreboot/Heads?

Kernel is not being loaded at the login screen and so drivers aren’t loading.

This requires a TPM to do measured boot to get kernel drivers for logging into

QubesOS?

Hello @xian_hufeng ,

it is not very clear what is your problem.

Can you give more detail: your system and your Qubes setup, and what actual problem you have.

Do you have problems with typing passwords? Is Qubes installed on USB disk?

There are multiple sets of USB drivers in a Qubes system - so we have trouble to understand
your first question.

I found this:

I think it the same problem? We can go there.

you can add a kernel flag at boot “qubes.skip_autostart”. The USB-VM loading automatically and cutting off USB ports at boot.
