Great! I hope some of the seeders will come up online.

One month ago, I struggled to download R2B2 by any means, as the HTTP downloads would eventually time out for me and I couldn’t find any torrents. Finally, I came across Burnbit, which appears to turn HTTP downloads (they call them Web Seeds) into torrents on the fly (torrent file attached).
I am seeding both now.

Sorry, Joanna, I didn’t report it. I am located in Australia which may be a factor, and tried all the sourceforge mirrors I think on Jul 12, 2013 - as I recall they all timed out and failed eventually. On the other hand, the next day Burnbit was the quickest download I can remember.
Here’s the relevant browser history:

Do you think there is value in me reporting this now?
I am currently seeding both torrents in this thread, and the Burnbit one has been active (uploaded 231.4MB), while the other is currently active (uploaded 1.88GB so far). I am on 100Mbps cable.
Cheers,
James
Personally I wouldn't heavily depend on sf.net anyway:
* It's overloaded already. The site and file downloads are slow. I'm not comfortable with downloading a 2 Gb file without any donation.
* download resuming on connection loss is better done for torrents than for HTTP.
I think the torrent technology "just fits" for large file downloads.
No, I wouldn't bother now.
joanna.
