Hello dear Qubes OS users and especially those in Berlin! 
Qubes Users Berlin have been back on track for some time now!
It was in silent mode due to time and resource constraints,
but the monthly topic/discussion meetup is now officially resuming with this announcement:
We will meet every last Friday of each month at xHain, a hack+makerspace at Grünberger Str. 16 in Friedrichshain.
The Qubes OS meetup is also scheduled in the x-hain’s calendar.
A small presentation and/or discussion on different topics will be held at each meeting and will be announced in advance on the home page, as well as through social media channels, the mailing list, and the forum.
The meeting for this month is scheduled for Friday, the 25. 10. 2024 from 6 till 8 p.m. at x-hain and the topics are:
- ‘Qubes OS from a beginner’s perspective’
- ‘Salting Qubes’
At each meeting, we will offer a hands-on installation session and/or an opportunity to try out Qubes OS using a provided laptop.
There will be tasks available as exercises for both beginners and intermediate users, which you can choose to complete or skip.
Snacks will also be provided
If you wish, you can connect with us on bluesky and mastodon, and are welcome to join our mailing list, where we announce meetings and discuss items.
And of course if you’re interested in presenting something related to Qubes OS yourself, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email, forum and/or social media.
