Qubes OS vs. APTs

Hello, I understand Qubes OS maintain security via compartmentalization, but how about Advanced Persistent Threats (APT)? I understand it may be efficient in defending against random threats or hacks, but what if the opponent is targeting the Qubes OS user specifically with overwhelming determination? Whistleblowers of large corporations, and investigative journalists surely can use such defense.

Qubes offers a degree of security based on compartmentalisation. There
are few systems that can withstand an attack by a well funded opponent
with “overwhelming determination”. At this level it is not the OS that
will protect you but your security posture and OPSEC.
There is no magic bullet.
If your adversary is the Mossad, YOU’RE GONNA DIE AND THERE’S NOTHING THAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT

I never presume to speak for the Qubes team.
When I comment in the Forum I speak for myself.

You will need to be more specific about the adversary’s capabilities.

Let’s say a top-notch tech company like Microsoft or Google.

This topic is now firmly non-specific to Qubes OS, therefore it is off-topic.
