I’ve seen similar posts to this however I can’t seem to find a clear answer.
Has anyone got an idea on any good USB-C Qubes OS compatible docking stations? Just want to confirm before purchasing one that isn’t compatible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a Dell USB-C docking station that is connected to my QubesOS Dell laptop and it works great!
All devices, USB, audio, network, etc. work as expected. Even the power button powers up and shuts down the laptop.
The only thing that doesn’t work is turning off devices that are connected to the dock, when the laptop shuts down.
I have a laptop cooling pad that the fans stay on after shut down and I need to disconnect the USB-C and reconnect it again to stop them. Annoying but not terrible.

I’ll take a look into getting one of the Dell docking stations.
Check in UEFI/BIOS that you switched off powering usb after shutdown.
