Qubes OS 4.2.0 has been released!

I guess someone will do it if you describe your problems carefully in a dedicated topic.

If I remember correctly RC releases did work with rufus, but this 4.2.0 release does not. At least it did not boot for me.
Using dd did work, but using the “Test install media” option failed every time.
So I opted for the verbose boot method and finally installed the system.
Updating whonix worked fine. However trying to do sudo qubes-fwupdmgr refresh --whonix failed with some error messages.
Maybe someone else noticed as well, in my case if I start to type the disk password, the line jumps down one line, having two lines in the end (and it’s CLI instead of a window). But it’s fine by me, as long as it works ok.

Torrenting is better when it’s done on the Invisible Internet

Is it possible to change the height of the new “Valentina” applications menu?
When I connect to my external monitor, it only uses a small part of the screen. It would be nice when it could dynamically increase height or at least manually, so you can show more items when you have a large number of VMs.

I also noticed that setting a custom DPI in Dom0 ‘breaks’ the Qubes logo in XFCE lockscreen. It will go back to the standard XScreenlocker logo instead of Qubes logo.
