It says volume qubes_dom0/vm-debian-11-root missing
when I try to start any qube. I presume the LVM volumes disappeared. I didn’t mess with the LVM volumes. I just reinstalled Qubes under hope that it would fix the issues I’ve been having. I just updated the default templates (the whonix templates needed a couple attempts like usual after a fresh install). Then I fixed the debian-11-dvm menu entries. I installed packages in debian-11. I setup my VPN gateway in a new AppVM. Then I rebooted the system. I run lsblk
and I see that all the qube volumes are gone.
It looks like
sda
----sda3
--------luks-<uuid>
[gap]
------------qubes_dom0-root-pool_tmeta
----------------qubes_dom0-root-pool-tpool
--------------------qubes_dom0-root
--------------------qubes_dom0-root–pool
------------qubes_dom0-root-pool_tdata
----------------qubes_dom0-root-pool-tpool
--------------------qubes_dom0-root
--------------------qubes_dom0-root–pool
------------qubes_dom0-swap
That’s it.
I appreciate any advice. Reinstalling takes at least an hour including updates and I just finished configuring everything and would like to avoid doing it again.
Edit: I ran lvs
which shows all the volumes. I don’t know how to make them accessible to Qubes though.
