Qubes Disk and Shutdown security

Two questions: 1. Is LUKS full disk encryption with a strong passphrase secure enough to defend against an attacker with maximum capabilities or are there better options?

2. Does Qubes have some type of killswitch setting anywhere? Like for example press the power button and the whole machine turns off. If not how can I implement this?

• defend against attacker with maximum caps… then my answer would be “No” for all other - Yes!
• regarding question 2: what about running the machine without Akku and drwing the cable if needed? Guess there are also other ways, but this one should be the simplest.

An attacker with maximum capabilities would capture your computer while it’s on and will have access to everything unencrypted.
