Qfile-agent "Unknown Error 174945902"

I got a weird error during qvm-copy. The sourcevm is a dispvm and I have used qvm-copy on this vm before without issues. The error is

qfile-agent: Fatal error: File copy: "Unknown error 174945902" (error type: Unknown error 174945902)

I ran the command again but this time changed the target vm and the qvm-copy command ran successfully. Any idea what might have caused this issue?

Edit: On further analysis, I notice that the error message is displayed after the file is copied to target vm.

An educated wild guess: is there enough disk space on the target vm?

Congrats, you’ve found a benign yet interesting bug :slight_smile:

Since diagnosing this is going to require some back-and-forth with developers more familiar with that part of the codebase than me, can you open an issue on GitHub?
