Problem while reverting to Windows 11

The Hard Disk were Qubes is installed is not readable:

UEFI Settings:
Intel VMD Controller: Enabled
Intel Virtualization Technology: Enabled
Intel VT-d: Enabled
Intel Hyper - Threading: Enabled
Natural File Guard: Disabled
Intel Platform Trust Technology: Enabled
Device Guard: Disabled
Secure Boot: Disable

Does your bios show the hard drive correctly?

Yes

i think your issue occurs because Windows cant recognize your SSD when Intels VMD is active. Even though bios correctly sees your SSD, windows installation doesnt have the needed driver, causing that “phantom” 448KB space

Easy fix: Go into BIOS, locate the Intel VMD Controller setting (usually under advanced storage or RST settings) and disable it. Save and restart. Windows installer will then detect your drive properly

If you prefer keeping VMD enabled you will need to manually load the Intel RST/VMD driver during Windows installation. Grab the Intel “F6” driver package from Intels site on another PC, unpack it onto another USB drive, then use the “Load Driver” option in the Windows installer to load that driver. The drive will then appear correctly, and you should be able to install Windows normally.
