I’ve just noticed, it should be rd.qubes.hide_pci
, not rd.qubes.hide.pci
.
pciback!!! I know I’m not the one who solved this but I’m still really happy
last question the device input table error message from sys-usb to dom0 do I just ignore it?
Can you post the exact error message?
yes ill just make a backup first. should i include all the qubes in my backup since we did a lot of changes in dom0?
Making a backup is never a bad idea.
But note that your changes in dom0 outside of user home directory (e.g. /etc/default/grub) won’t be saved so you need to copy the files that you changed outside of user home directory to the user home directory before making a dom0 backup.
denied qubes.inputtablet from sys-usb to dom0 happens when qubes starts top right corner
so nwo that pciback is display i should be able to simply add my secondary nvidia graphic card to the appvms that I want?
It means that you have USB tablet device connected but your USB devices policy is to deny the connection of tablet devices from sys-net to dom0.
If you want to allow the connection of your USB tablet device to dom0 then you need to change its policy in Qubes Global Settings → USB Devices tab → Touchscreen/tablet for sys-usb to ask or enable.
Yes.
thank you for everything @apparatus and @renehoj
I have no tablet connected to it. That’s what worries me
I think the policy error message should indicate the BDF of the device that has table functionality. You can check the output of lsusb
command in sys-usb to see which device is it.
