No sound after latest dom0 updates

Qubes 4.0.3 with all updates. A lot of updates available a day or so back, which I installed including the dom0 updates. Since then there has been no sound available in any debian or fedora based VM. Have checked with the gui Pulse Audio Control and also Pavucontrol in the dom0 Terminal. All looks good to me.

Probably caused by a pulseaudio update, it’s a recurring issue.

Thanks airelemental. I guess I’ll just have to wait and hope for a quick update fix. I do miss the trouble free sound performance from my old Linux Mint installations.

Problem solved. On a whim I hooked up a different set of speakers and I had sound. Seems the newer speakers have given up the ghost. “My bad” for reporting a non-problem.
