No internet connection on VM based on debian minimal template

Hello, I am having trouble accessing the internet on App VM based on debian minimal template.

Here are my settings:

  • Installed debian-12-minimal template
  • Installed qubes-core-agent-networking in minimal template
  • Installed web browser in the minimal template
  • Set sys-firewall as the net cube for the App VM based on the minimal template

However, when I am in the App VM, neither the web browser or terminal was able to access any website.

Are there any dependencies or settings I am missing? Thanks.

Check if the network interface is present in the app qube, run this command in its terminal:

ip a

And try to ping some IP:

ping 9.9.9.9
