Just installed 4.2 RC and can’t get networking working properly in my VMs. I am using disposable Fedora 38 minimal templates with qubes-core-agent-networking and qubes-core-agent-network-manager for the net-vm. This setup works perfectly fine in 4.1 but cannot get it running. I’m not sure if it is the Fedora 38 template or the 4.2 upgrade, but the networking does not work in app VMs based on the minimal templates (with qubes-core-agent-networking installed). It does appear to work okay with the regular Fedora 38 templates; however, I want to use the minimal templates. I guess I’m wondering if there is a bug with the templates or 4.2?
edit: It just occurred to me to try the Fedora 37 minimal template first. I’ll update this post later.
I installed @hardware-support package. I actually have connectivity (IP and DNS resolution) in sys-net and AppVMs based on Fedora 38 (not minimal) can also connect. So it doesn’t seem like a firmware issue to me?
