So I did it with root LVM from some standalone qube, but I get an error while attaching private LVM:
qvm-block: error: backend vm dom0 doesn’t expose device ‘’
What’s the point?

ok, after I renamed the VM, it works!
Just renamed the VM and made all the steps again.
What was the old name, and what was the renamed qube? There could be
something interesting here.

I had a broken standaloneVM (another topic here). As I tried to attach the private LVM from that, I got the error above (not for the root LVM). Then I just change it to myVM_broken and then attached it as vm-myVM_broken and it worked.
