VSCode 1.94 Debian package can not be installed on Debian 11 anymore (uses unknown compression for member ‘control.tar.zst’, giving up)
It even fails at the command line; gripes about zst then gives up.

Interesting, that I ran into a problem today with my vscodium 1.94 already installed but unable to start the vscodium-server. I resolved it by switching my qube to a fedora 40 xfce template with vscodium installed.
I’ll be keeping an eye on this, not sure what’s up but don’t have time to fix it on Debian 12. I need to code Ansible stuff tonight!
Best of luck, perhaps try and workaround like the above in the interim

The problem was on the Microsoft side and Microsoft fixed it! :- )
