Mic for input not longer works(the hardware works)

Yellow

In the past I would use my wave XLR and blue yeti and it would work with out issue(I simply attach the Qube, select the XLR device as input and whalla), after getting my new mic it not longer works this way.
I have been without a mic for a month+ and uncertain what has changed.
Testing on other linux distro the mic works and the XLR does indicate that there is active audio input.

Any help would be appreciated.

Provide the product name of your new microphone.

Oh sorry, it was just a new blue yeti pro. Had to replace my other one prior.

On the top right of the XFCE panel, there is a USB icon with the tooltip Qubes Devices. Select it, then under the USB Devices drop-down menu, select your Elgato Wave XLR, attach it to your desired qube, then test it.

Yes, this is what I used to do. The method no longer works for me.

Does your audio interface still appear under the drop-down menu?

No, I don’t see any volume control for input, put testing at connection devices and input options within the qube itself provides my XLR device as an option but no audio.

For debugging, could you do the following:

  1. Install pavucontrol in your TemplateVM or an AppVM (for Fedora: sudo dnf install pavucontrol from the terminal)
  2. Attach your microphone to that AppVM as described in previous posts
  3. Launch a terminal in that AppVM and type pavucontrol
  4. Paste screenshots of the “Input Devices” and “Configuration” tabs here

Oh, I thought you meant from dom0.
Yes, yes in the qube it is detected an an input device and muting it from the control panel even reflects on my wave xlr, as my way xlr also shows there being working audio but in the volume panel you don’t see the audio.
