i am so confused by this, why does zoom capture dom0? and then dom0 seems to be in a windows7 window? what is happening here? ahhh.

I’m guessing it’s a capture card working as a webcam, correct?

You are right - HDMI to USB on another computer.

I think the webcam-companion (not sure it’s called like this) qubes os project can now expose dom0 screen as a webcam.

I tried now with the qubes-video-companion, and under R4.2.3 it shoots Qubes to infinity, too:
Under R4.1.2, screen share works for AppVMs as the sender, but dom0 as the sender just says “Operation canceled by sender”. So far, I have not found out why. It could be a problem of policy or a protection failure.

In loving memory of the old Create new qube senior dialog, I am saddened to announce it passing away. It had served us all well for over a decade. It has survived by its child Create New Qube junior dialog. It may rest in peace.

Both are still working here on R4.2 with the latest dom0 updates.

That is correct. But I executed it last night. The PR is going to be merged after OpenQA test is complete. Then the old dialog will be deleted from r4.3 testing. Here are the details:
