We could easily solve this by having a high-quality tag.

I like the idea of “high-quality guide” tag.

What about offloading the burden of verification to trusted users to do, if they happen to use it? All they need to do is let people know if the guide works as intended (i.e. a technically competent guide).

This is exactly what I suggested a bit earlier:

We could also use the experience from the Community-recommended computers: A high-quality guide must be verified at least by two independent users, perhaps with showing successful logs.
