Libreoffice suddenly looks ugly

Libreoffice suddenly looks ugly Hello. Since 1 or 2 days libreoffice has changed its appearance and looks like software from the 1980s. I regularly update my Qubes operating system, so I think it has something to do with an update. Has anyone else experienced this?
Background info: After I had issues with libreoffice I was recommended several months ago to do this, which worked very well for a long time.

sudo dnf install libreoffice-kf5
sudo dnf remove libreoffice-x11 libreoffice-gtk3 libreoffice-gtk4
sudo dnf -y update --exclude=libreoffice-x11 --exclude=libreoffice-gtk --exclude=libreoffice-gtk2 --exclude=libreoffice-gtk3

Not exactly an answer to your question, but I grew so frustrated with Libreoffice and its performance that I abandoned it (for reasons not unlike what you’re experiencing) in favor of Only Office:

Did you by any chance switch template from Fedora to Debian? The version in Debian looks really outdated.

The version in Debian looks fine.
You have to remember, LibreOffice is JAVA based.
Looks the same on all.

I did notice they only installed kf5, they should just install LibreOffice and leave it at that.
That will install the right versions and will work just fine.

While LibreOffice, OpenOffice, KingSoft Office and others pop up, they are often, I find, all the same.

I have yet to find one that is good.
LibreOffice has the least amount of spyware in it, so I use that.

No, it is still the fedora template.

When I use libreoffice on a fedora installation (independent of qubes), it still looks great as before.

this is because you switched to libreoffice-kf5 which is a lot more responsive and use a lot less CPU, but it’s absolutely ugly.

Maybe a Qt theme could fix that.

In fact, libreoffice was super unresponsive before I switched to libreoffice-kf 5. The strange thing is that it did not change its appearance immediately after I switched, but only a few months later.

Okay. I will check out what Qt themes are. Thanks.
