Kleopatra Crashes using Fedora VM + Torrents Failing with VPN

  1. After a few times using kleopatra notepad in fedora vault to decrypt different messages in same notepad kleopatra keeps crashing- a qubes user had told me try and create the same qube in debian and see if same issue persists with my vault qube. I’m unsure of how to transfer over everything to that successfully.

  2. when torrenting sometimes my vpn connection seems to fail and it gets stuck at 0% downloading or my search function in qbittorrent will stop working. sometimes things work and download other times they just stay at zero. even when i switch to whonix i may be able to search again and find torrenting files but it gets stuck at zero when trying to download files.

an error message i will get at the bottom of the list of torrents or when my mullvad vpn connection seems to run into issues it gives me this error. upon reading the documentation im not sure of how to set this up in qubes correctly. fedora 42 based qube

Those two problems seem to be unrelated. Next time, please open a topic for each.

As for the first one, just change the template in the Settings of the app qube or with Qubes Template Switcher. And make sure to restart the app qube if opened.

About the second issue: it doesn’t seem related to Qubes OS. The error message tells you that you need an API key.

Is it working without the VPN?

Do not use Whonix for that:
