Kicksecure-17 Template (3isec): Thunar Missing "Copy to Other VM" Context Menu Option

In Kicksecure-17 template from 3isec repository Thunar file manager doesn’t have the “Copy to Other VM” or “Move to Other VM” options in the right-click context menu.

qubes-core-agent is installed, and qvm-copy works fine from the terminal, but it seems custom actions of Thunar are missing in this template.

@unman could you take a look and maybe include these Thunar actions in a future update?

Did you check for qubes-core-agent-thunar as well?

As @OvalZero mentioned, qubes-core-agent-thunar must be installed in the template of the VM you are trying to use this feature in.

If I can properly recall, in some case even when I had it installed, I had to manually add commands to the menu:
“Configure Custom Actions”-> /usr/lib/qubes/qvm-actions.sh copy %F etc for other actions…

qubes-core-agent-thunar was not installed and installing it resolved the issue.

However my actual point was that it should be included by default in the template.

Agreed.
If the base template includes thunar, (I’d have to check that), then the
distromorphed KickSecure should include qubes-core-agent-thunar.
Probably time for an updated build.
