Jerky, slow cursor after resume

I’ve been intermittently reinstalling Qubes on my Thinkpad X1 Gen 9 seeing if Xen and kernel updates have fixed the resume from suspend issues.

Currently, with the BIOS power settings set to Linux S3, the machine will resume from suspend and reconnect to wifi appropriately. However, the cursor is slow and stutters, and remains that way until a reboot.

Anyone experience this, and is there a way to troubleshoot or address this issue?

Definitely. All device drivers are loaded, and in fact, everything works. It (the mouse) just doesn’t work well.
