Is running Qubes on HP ZBook Fury 15 G8 laptop & using it to run Windows & linux OS's a good idea?

I have a 32 GB RAM. I want to use QubeOS to use mullvad VPN in the most secure way possible. I will bind my mullvad VPN to each QubesOS session that is a container for each linux or Windows OS. I will be doing this for any linux and windows OS I run, but in particular this will be helpful with windows OS’s, I theorize this because Windows is closed source code and not to be trusted with being able to not leak using a VPN or properly hard bind with a VPN.

I will be using QubesOS to run both RAM-based OS’s and also ones that write on the hard drive itself and that save their state on the harddrive, my internal hard drive is a NVMe SSD, PCIe.

Is running Qubes for these reasons a good idea?

How does Qubes handle Windows OS’s?

Here is the specs on my laptop:
