Is qubes os going to upgrade to kernel 5?

Hi, I have a newer lapptop and i realised that any linux distro running kernel lower than 5.0 won’t work.
Is qubes going to upgrade to 5?

The next version of Qubes OS, 4.1, is based on Fedora-32, which AFAIK has kernel 5.6. My current fully updated 4.0 version has kernel 5.4.

Dom0’s kernel version/ branch does not correspond with the default kernels that the related Fedora version once shipped with.
Since Qubes R4.0.4 you get Linux 5.4, while Qubes R4.1 is currently at 5.10 (by default).
