Is it safe to connect a wireless USB mouse to Qubes? The mouse will connect to Dom0. It it possible that a hacker can connect to Dom0 directly via the mouse wireless USB dongle? Or does Qubes mitigate against such a possibility?
Mouse can’t enter any commands, so the damage it can do is limited. Apart from that, touchpad is probably more secure but much less convenient.

Thank you. Yes indeed a mouse can’t enter command. Touchpad is always more secure indeed. The question is whether for high-risk people, a wireless USB dongle can be taken over by something that can send commands into Dom0 - as if Bluetooth or wifi were connected to Dom0.
