Getting into Qubes can be quite challenging, but it is manageable. Guides like this provide invaluable help! But to get to this point, an absolute outsider, possibly with little technical knowledge, somehow has to grasp the basic concepts of the system, and these are very different from conventional OSes.
To help here, I have created a very basic introductory text with some pictures, which will - hopefully - soon be entered into the official Qubes documentation. Currently, it is in the state of review. A preliminary version can be found here.
Furthermore, IT professionals outside the US are more and more complaining about loss of control of their systems, due to vendor lock-ins and maybe even political influence, causing manufacturers like M$ to restrict usage of their systems in some countries. In this respect, Qubes OS could be a very valuable tool to strengthen digital sovereignty, which is outlined in another paper.
